Have you ever really wanted to create something or take part in a challenging new project? It may have been more challenging than you anticipated… and maybe you were driven to a certain point to succeed then decided not to continue, for no justifiable reason. It’s very frustrating. Where was all that vigor that went into the initial stage of starting that new inspirational thing?!

Human Will Is For Short Bursts

Much of society places a great importance on human will. The general idea being inflation of the will equals preservation of the will. The actual quality of inner will is like a computer language where 1=ON & 0=OFF and these two polarities tend to switch back and forth during any given endeavor.

Purposefully Activating The Will

The will can be activated to make a change, many times significant changes, but for the intention to be sustained as a lifestyle the environment needs to support its development. The enviornment includes:

People

Places

Objects

… even more important is the mind’s logical and emotional terrain. If the mind is cluttered with fear, doubt and resistance where can there be space for a new way of living?

3 Quick Tips On Tidying Up The Mind

See the interconnected ways it can be helpful for yourself as well as others.

Find examples of excellence, such as people excellently already doing what you’d like. Appreciating their efforts as a potential for your own, not from idolatry.

Let go of inner resistance which shows up as doubt and often overwhelm.
